EQUIPMENT
I often get asked the question, "how do you take a photo like this?".
So, Below I have put together a page where you can see the gear that is involved with taking these shots, and how the equipment is utilised to create the images I am able to share.
For the majority of my photography I use a canon 6D mark 1 and my recently brought Samyang 24mm F1.4 which performs great in low light.
For the tracked long-exposure images/ Timelapse's, I use a Sky Watcher Star Adventure 2i.
This is an absolute game changer when it comes to bringing out the much fainter details in the night sky which aren't visible to the naked eye.
GEAR

CANON 6D MK1
After 2 years of borrowing cameras and lens's off good friends I finally made the decision to get myself a Canon 6D mark1.
The Canon 6D has been great so far, it performs so well and has clearly made a name for itself in the astrophotography community.
Its also VERY affordable which makes this camera ideal for anyone not looking to break the bank.

SAMYANG 24MM F1.4
I added this lens to my collection after the endless search for an affordable, good in low light, light weight, extremely versatile lens.
The Samyang 24mm is the lens I was looking for, very excited to take this lens with me on my projects.
